Rufiji River Camp and Safaris
The oldest of the camps in Selous, and with one of the prime locations, Rufiji River has been looking after visitors to Selous for as long as people have taken safaris there. There are twenty en-suite tents laid out along the riverbank, with panoramic views of the sunset and the river, and a coterie of wildlife passing along the river or through the camp each day. A swimming pool, library, mess area and the Tuscan kitchen of the Italian management have all been developed recently to make Rufiji River Camp a very affordable introduction to the time-honoured style of the east African safari
